NimProbe is a wireless optical probe and portable CMM solution for metrology-grade inspection and GD&T measurement. It enables fast, reliable feature capture (holes, edges, slots and hidden points) and supports a seamless workflow for probing and large-area scanning within one system.
Overview
NimProbe is designed for teams that need a flexible 3D probing system to measure geometric features and GD&T quickly, without the limitations of mechanical arms or cables. Within the tracker’s field of view, the probe moves freely while its position and orientation are tracked in real time—supporting measurement of hole locations, flatness, parallelism and other critical tolerances.
The system combines high-precision probing with large-area 3D scanning in a single workflow. Operators can capture point clouds with speed and precision, then switch seamlessly between scanning and probing to handle complex inspection tasks efficiently.
